Christopher Gilmer has more than 30 years experience in finance, human resources, clinical support, quality and regulatory compliance, and operations for highly regulated and technical companies in the information technology and healthcare arenas.

As the Vice President and General Manager of Disetronic Medical Systems, Inc. – Roche Diagnostics, Chris led all business directives while successfully planning the integration of the Disetronic organization into Roche Diagnostics, a leading global healthcare company. He has a solid record of directing organizations through growth and operations enhancements, driving down costs, improving quality and operational effectiveness, and increasing revenue. Chris’ proven track record in motivating employees to drive excellence in support of customer success is a driving force behind VMS’ flawless execution of client programs.

During his career, Chris has gained extensive experience in the medical device industry building an organization of 200 employees with $30M in sales. He has developed and implemented diabetes device marketing and sales strategies, as well as launched various products. Chris has significant experience in overseeing all aspects of a highly regulated company including: customer fulfillment, reimbursement, patient training, call center management, as well as implementing new quality and regulatory systems to enable successful FDA audits. Additionally, Chris has successfully led efforts to pursue new business opportunities ensuring the right tools and talent are in place to support opportunities to take advantage of emerging markets.

At VMS, Chris oversees operations of the company providing sound business development and compliance strategies for clients while ensuring better internal efficiencies.
