Professional Experience

Mandy Moore is a business visionary who co-founded VMS after extensive meeting management and event production experience in healthcare and political arenas. After a successful launch of her career in Washington DC, where she played an instrumental role in securing 18 inaugural events, Mandy returned to the Midwest and co-founded VMS with Neal Rothermel in 1995.

Her technical strengths and expertise in strategic meetings and large scale event management, coupled with her intuitive spirit for change management within organizations, have helped to transform VMS into a nationally recognized, award winning organization offering total solutions to Fortune 500 clients in the healthcare, life sciences, biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

As the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries began to shift from fully integrated teams to virtually integrated outsourcing business models over the past decade, Mandy has led the company through a strategic transition to better address industry demands and client needs.

Her focus on moving the business upstream to better understand and counsel clients throughout the planning process helped to attract an A-team of brand marketers from the industry and to expand the existing service offering of VMS to include marketing solutions. By focusing on industry changes and leading a successful transition of her own company, Mandy was able to grow the enterprise from a strategic meetings management company to a full service marketing solutions company.

Today, VMS is as a proven leader in medical education, patient adherence and creative marketing solutions for brand teams in healthcare and life science related industries. Driven by co-founders and visionaries, Mandy and Neal Rothermel, along with a staff of 100 dedicated and seasoned specialists, VMS has become a valued partner to brand teams from program development through execution.
